Centerpieces and greens galore!

Hello Everyone,

It has been some time since my last post! We have been very busy around here enjoying the crazy time that is Christmas at West Coast Gardens! I absolutely can not believe how fast the poinsettias sold this year. If you are still looking for the best quality, grown on site poinsettias get down here fast as we are almost sold out!

Lately so many beautiful arrangements have been making their way up to the store from the planting station in the greenhouses. Minna, Yvonne and Debbie have been producing some amazingly creative stuff this year!! Our design team makes us so proud!

Beautiful centerpieces for your table
I love the contrasting light blue/green colours and light pinks!

We have a limited amount of cut flower arrangements for Christmas! Get them while their still here!
You may have heard that all our indoor and outdoor wreaths, swags and garlands are 25% OFF!! We have so many beautiful items that help put the finishing touches on your decor. Check out some of the live and artificial wreaths we have in store.

This cute fellow is the LAST owl in our whole store!

We have a few designer wreaths left and they are also 25% off!
Some recent happenings around the garden center.
Remember that giant crescent pot we wanted to fill for the food  bank? Well we did it!!!! Thank You to all our customers and staff for their generous donations to the South Surrey White Rock Sources Food Bank.
We really appreciate your contributions and we were excited to reach our goal! Merry Christmas!

Remember this photo? We fit three people, Grace Katie and Jason into the pot!

Katie organized the food drive this year and kept us motivated to fill the giant pot which held ALOT of food! It was loaded into one of the trucks today and delivered to the South Surrey White Rock 'Sources' Food Bank! Yipee!
Two of our designers Minna and Joyce went to the Probus Ladies Club White Rock/South Surrey to demonstrate how we make our gorgeous centerpieces and wreaths. The gals had a great time and as per usual the door prizes were a big hit!!! Here are some photos from the fun afternoon.

And now I will leave you with some pictures of all the Christmas outdoor planters I wish I could take home with me!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM EVERYONE AT WEST COAST FLORAL, GROWERS AND GARDENS!
We will be closed for the season at noon on Christmas Eve. We will reopen February 28th 2011 for Spring!!

See you then and in the meantime check back here for updates on the moss baskets and bedding plants we'll be growing for you!

The friendly faces of West Coast Gardens!

This basket stuffed with greens is to die for!

I took this picture on our beautiful snow day :) This one has sold but we did make one more that is a bit bigger and hangs longer and it is currently available. A European style 'chandelier'.

Another beautiful basket that can be hung on your wall or door. Gives off the most amazingly fresh scents!

Minna's own creation, the alternative to mistletoe, a 'Kissing Ball'!

UM ARE THOSE CONES REAL??? Yes they are!!! Sugar Pine Cones grown in California are part of this jaw dropping moss basket stand.
