How beautiful has it been lately? Just makes you want to get out on your patio or work on your garden and enjoy the rays! Not a bad thing to do and start get it ready for this spring. Jean, one of our brilliant employees, who is found in our perennials, shrubs and trees section, suggests this great gardening tip:
"Now is a good time to stand back and take a really good look at your existing trees and shrubs because they may have outgrown their area. They may look disproportionately large for the scale of your garden and overshadow their neighbouring plants or appear to 'fight' with them for space. You can decide whether to prune them back if possible, or move them to a more suitable space or give them away. Make double sure when shopping for replacement plants that you check the mature height on the plant tag so that the cute little shrub does not grow up to become a behemoth."
